Provence
2001
Six members
of the Group went to Provence in southern France for a week in October
2001. Five days were spent walking from Fontaine de
Vaucluse to Lourmarin, a distance of some 50+ miles. The group booked their own accommodation and stayed at five
different hotels. The cost of the
trip worked out at £380 per person including flights, taxi transfers from
the airport, luggage transfers and half board each day including a
celebratory dinner in the famous Michelin 2-star Restaurant in Le Moulin
De Lourmarin. The quality of the food and accommodation was
excellent.
